It is a spectacular holiday complex made up of small individual luxury villas located on the seafront, they have a small pool, a terrace and a stretch of beach directly attached. It is located in Khao Lak - Thailand, surrounded by tropical rain forest and National Parks.

The Renaissance Take On The Series

This morning I booted up the Star Wars series  and started watching episode 2, The Empire Strikes Back. I usually play a movie in the morning since it gives me the inspiration to start-up work right away. It hit me as I was glancing at the screen every so often that the effects in those movies are really… well, good for being back then and quite horrifying compared to today. Catch the moment with Adidas Originals

In todays post we want to show interesting and creative t-shirt collection from Adidas Originals – fw08. This collection was created by New York design studio Studio Intraligi. As usual along with new design it comes thematic photosession. Photos were taken in São Paulo by the photographer Ricardo Vieira. The main idea of this photo campain was to catch a calm moment with your adidas style among crazy urban movement.

Audi Shark

This 3D model called “Audi Shark” was the winner of 2009 World Auto Design Contest. Auto has the form of a shark and it’s not only a way to make unusual design. It is believed that this form improves cars handling. Besides the futuristic design of this model its creator Mert Tol thought out how it will move. By his idea Shark will not have wheels like modern cars, it will be flying machine. The author believes that this feature will reduce the risk of accidents on the roads and provide the driver unforgettable feeling of flight. Also there were invented original seats, which are very similar to motorcycle seats but much more comfortable. In general the car is very unusual. And a natural question arises: when it will become a reality?

New Concept

Peugeot design team has just published the pictures of their new concept: a bicycle, called B1K. It looks like a racing bike with a minimalist design. Bike doesn’t have chains at all and made from a special heavy-duty material. Pretty interesting concept. Also do not forget to check another bike concept – DH Freeride Bike-Concept.

eVouse – Regular Mouse and Air Mouse

eVouse is a conceptual mouse, that can operate in two modes – as the standard mouse and also can be switched to air mode. For example, for any specific design goals, such as drawing. The control buttons and scroll wheel are made in the form of small sensory panels, LED backlight is used as feedback and reacts to each command. But, of course, the main feature of the concept is exellent design of device, as well as its ergonomics: it is perfectly placed in the hand. The author of concept is designer Marcial Ahsayane. Corporate Identity for The Sweet Spot

Today we want to present to your attention the development of corporate identity for The Sweet Spot. By using warm colors and interesting font designer Kayd Mustonen has created the ideal concept for the brand for a comfortable, home-bakery. Since the bakery to be proud of naturalness of their products is quite logical to use the brown and beige colors that correspond to the term “naturalness” in the minds of many people. The Sweet Spot can bring home their products and such packaging will surely add some pleasant moments.

Eco Concept Car

This stunning eco concept car called “Peugeot Velocite” was created for the 2008 Peugeot design competition by industrial designer Juan Carlos Noguera from Guatemala. It’s an electric vehicle that offers zero emission drive on crammed roads. Generating power from a low-resistance electric motor located inside the rear orbital wheel. Running on three wheels, the vehicle concept provides a motorcycle-like suspension setup with a single swing-arm, housed on the right wheel, for easy controls. In addition, the Velocite recharges onboard batteries while moving downhill. Its sporty lines and compact design appeal to a younger audience.

Ghost in the Machine

Luxury Hi-Tech “Flying Yacht”

This stunning concept of superyacht created by French interior cabin designer Yelken Octuri and called “Flying Yacht” will allow you to change your location much more faster then ordinary yacht thanks to its design. Designer has devoted his energy to furthering ship & marine equipment technologies. It’s a trimaran sailing yacht with four additional engines. Also this 46-meter luxury yacht contains four mobile masts which transforms into wings by the clicking of a button. So it’s full of latest technology and modern ship and boat components. Flying Yacht has two main decks including a lower deck with a gallery and main salon and an upper deck with three cabins. By his own words Octuri was inspired by the existing superyacht “The Maltese Falcon.”

The Poets Series

We’ve already shown you a lot of lamps and a lot of chairs. But this item called “The Poets” is something exeptionally unique. It is an experiment from design studio Nieuwe Heren and it combines both lamp and folding chair. The integrated lamp is cut flat so that it can easily sit against the wall. When you simply want a lamp, the chair folds flat to hang against the wall. The Poets comes in two variations: “W. Blake” is a green chair with the lamp on the right, whereas “J.W. Goethe” comes with the lamp on left and is shaded white.

Limited Edition XX Light Bulbs

Artist KAWS has recently collaborated with The Standard Hotel in creating a limited edition (1,000 sets) of an enhanced version of the light bulb. The artist wanted to create something basic that could be found in every hotel room and with that in mind, he redesigned the light bulb with a very artistic touch. It greatly advances Thomas Alva Edison’s improvements for a more selective 21st century aesthetic. The KAWS set of light bulbs comes in the following colors, Red, Purple and Green along with KAWS signature XX. The set is availiable online for $65 and will also be available inside the Standard Hotels in Hollywood, Los Angeles Downtown, New York and Miami.
